great as mates, horrible as partners is what I've heard. Didn't realise it was all about them not helping with chores...I really don't think aussie men have the monopoly on being lazy around the house.

No, they don't Roz - that is certainly true enough. But they do tend to like their beer rather too much and slob around OUTSIDE the house in singlet, stubbies (short shorts, regardless of horrible beer bellies) and flip-flops (that's "thongs" to Aussies).

TB thought I was joking about the last one...until he actually saw it with his own eyes. However, I would like to add that our esteemed Moderator, Exile, is definitely the exception to that rule.

He dresses and behaves most impeccably. :) Just thought you'd like to know...
