ARGH! Somebody post something new - I can't reply to myself! :pom:

Lord Finisher

Yes, you can. :D

Lord Finisher
22-09-10, 08:25 AM
It won't end well, but you can.

Lotus666

I see what you did there... :sus: :p

Besides, and hopefully, won't be too quiet for much longer thankfully. I shall be encouraging The Way of the Spam amongst our newcomers!

Lord Finisher

Yay, new initiates into the Way of Spam!

Have to let them get settled and look around - a strange new place to explore. :)

Lord Finisher

By the way, what did you mean by "I see what you did there"?

Lemme guess, reference to before one of the major server crashes?

Lotus666
22-09-10, 11:00 AM
Nope - you replied to yourself! :p

Lord Finisher
22-09-10, 11:07 AM
Which is also a reference to that one time I was so obsessed with post count that I replied to myself over and over and over again. Ergo, before the major server crash!

:p

Lotus666

Ah - good times - I had SUCH a post count! I'll just have to work harder if I'm ever to catch LD now...

Lord Finisher
22-09-10, 11:49 AM
Good luck with that one. I gave up THAT race ages ago.

Lotus666

Thanks - not given up now! :wicked:

Give a person an impossible task and they'll accomplish it with a master's finesse. Give a person an easy task and they'll never do it.

Lotus666

I always did do things the hard way!

Lord Finisher
22-09-10, 12:21 PM
Yeah, but learning things the Hard way gives you more overall experience than the easy way.

Lotus666
22-09-10, 12:30 PM
That's actually very true...

Lord Finisher
22-09-10, 12:34 PM
Mostly because it's so painful that it's hard to forget...

Lotus666
22-09-10, 01:20 PM
Also true!

Lord Finisher

Then again, there's a reason why it's called TRIAL BY FIRE.

Lotus666
22-09-10, 04:01 PM
That's also how they burn witches, innit? ;)

Lord Finisher
22-09-10, 05:31 PM
No, that's just tying someone to the stake and setting them on fire. Trial by fire is like having four boxes, three containing fire, and the non-fire box holds your item. So you guess and keep trying until you get the item.

Lotus666

Good way to get your hands burnt methinks... :p

It's just an example. Another example would be not knowing how to fight and going up against someone until you beat them at their own game.
