It may work, it may fall flat on it's face. My idea is this...I'll start with a line from a song, and the first person to name that song replies to the line before with another line from a song...etc, etc, etc.

Preferably an opening line (if possible), and no obscure song titles like "Love Rats from the Planet Uranus" by Stinky Boy Pete! :p

After a while...I may piece the conversation together, and see what we've come up with. Right then, starting with...

Hello, is there anybody IN there?

Hey not fair; Love Rats from the Planet Uranus" by Stinky Boy Pete! is a classic and everyone would count it as an all time favorite.

Anyway, in the interests of playing by Lotty's highly restrictive rules...

Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd.

It is probs a bit obscure, sorry!
1st verse:

Four score years
Living down in this rain swept town
Sea salt tears
Swimming round as the rain comes down

There was a song on the radio this morning that started four score years but the stupid traffic report cut through it so I missed the rest. DJ said they were about to play the Decemberists?

Coldplay yellow :)

The Decemberists may or may not be to your taste, lol. Didn't think they were that un-heard off, have been listening to them for a while... They certainly arn't main stream tho.

Seeing as the rules are gone this is from a new release..
