Outside of the occasional mindless stupids... not really much. Being stuck inside all day waiting for callbacks really sucks, especially when you've milked every connection you have for a job completely dry.

What gets my goat are people who call you for help. You give them help, tips, guidance and they get pissed off at you. T'hell with you.. Had a bad one this week and like hell he was going to win. Heck I even scared the newbie sat next to me
I finished off, you don't I am being helpfull you are more than welcome to make a complaints against me but I gave you all the help my work with allow me. "oh, no, I don't want to make a complaint. Then I finished off by saying have a "good day now" which means in my terms fuck off  Boy, my work mates laughed after that ... good on ya you didn't let him get to you or give-in.

You must really wish sometimes you could just let rip. Poor you! *BH's*

Yes, indeedy
I feel kind of sorry for a work mate. On Tuesday she had a right pratt on the line. The girl said fine I'll shall hang-up. My work mate didn't double check that the girl had hung-up then went on one and then everyone around pitched-in (I was on a call at the time) Then all of a sudden I hear her go " You still there!? You heard all that!? and just carried on" One of our supervisors near-by was just melting in his chair as he knew he had to deal with the call afterwards. Man, I felt bad for him afterwards.
After all that another work mate said you should of told her to "fuck off" after you knew she heard everything as the damage was already done

Oh, how we wish we could do that sometimes. Seems that yesterday was the day from hell everyone one and their dogs were complaining

And that's the reason why I couldn't take the call center job anymore. Outside of unreliable work hours (literally, a month could pass by and NOTHING would happen), you occasionally get those real UNIQUE cases who only hear about five words and filter the rest out their ass.

I hate people who are damn near illiterate and replace their lack of reading ability by volume. And, damn it, Medicare IS government-run medicine. Where the fuck have you been?!

What really pisses me off is when you have been waiting 2 months for a consult with a surgeon. You go to your appointment and they turn around and tell you thatyou don't have one.

I was WTF. I booked this 2 months ago!!!! :grrr:
They said oh, we returned the request to you Dr's office as they picked the wrong Dr.

Dr's office state they never had it returned to them otherwise they would have contacted me... Either way they got the jist of my reaction. I made them book me another appointment and told them to "CALL ME" if their is a problem and not write me and tell me their is a problem as stuff gets lost in the bloody mail system.

Man .. I hate incompetent people who try to pass the buck... :grrr:

What really pisses me off is the fact that I've been trying to get my paperwork in order for the past fucking year, spending endless money that I don't have on endless trips to Oslo and back and every time I start feeling like I'm near the end some fucking c**t behind some fucking counter who does nothing else but sit there all fucking day filing her fucking claws looks up at me from behind her over make-uped, spiderlegged lashes with her dopey eyes and tells me I have to fill out another ton of fucking papers and bring more photos! Kill a bureaucrat! Save the rain forest!

Something that STILL pisses me off:

Seems to me whenever the Jacksonville Jaguars have something big to shoot for (e.g. spot in the playoffs, make the previous Super Bowl winners look like fools, or trounce a rival in their division), they hand their playbook to the opposing team and stick their heads in the sand. Case in point - yesterday's game against Miami. They had a great chance to stay in the running for a wild-card spot in the playoffs, and they blew it big time. Their only hope now is if the other teams that are in the running for a wild-card spot lose their remaining games!

The Jags wonder why tickets don't sell like hotcakes? If they'd stop the choking and start playing ball, and they'd see a surge in ticket sales!

It never fails...anytime something big is at stake, the Jags just don't play ball and screw around instead. The more I see this and the more jibber-jabber I hear about college football, the more I'm convinced that Jacksonville should've told the NFL 16 years ago to take their expansion franchise and stick it where the sun don't shine.

Jags did a rerun of the end of the '06 season yesterday - 4 games to go and they had a good chance of getting into the playoffs, and what do they do? They blow the last 4 games of the season!

I say it's time to back the truck up to the Jags locker room and tell everybody to clean out their lockers, they're gone. Go screw around elsewhere since the lot of 'em can't play ball worth a damn.

I teach English in a Japanese school. While I can speak Japanese, everyone here knows I can`t read it to save my life. But they insist on covering my desk with memos every single day. 2/3 of them don`t pertain to me at all. But they give them to me and then ask me to initial them to show I`ve read them.Drives me nuts.

At least my neighbors realize I can`t read Japanese and don`t bother me with anything like that. And if it`s important, they just TELL me about it.

That must be so annoying, Chosen. Red Tape runs well in Japan I take it?

You have no idea. Most foreign teachers like me work for dispatch companies who hire us out to local school boards as a third party.

I knew a guy down south who left his school 30 minutes early when he got a message from his wife that she had just had a miscarrage and lost thier baby. He told his school`s principal what had happened and then left for the hospital (with the school`s full sympathy and understanding). The regional office only knew that he had left early, the reason got lost in translation.

After management FINALLY got it through thier heads that A) it was a medical emergency and B) that the client school wasn`t in any way upset with him for leaving.......the HR Japanese HR guy for his region told him that in the future he wanted to notified of all medical emergencies 2 weeks in advance. :twl:

Being awakened by a cat taking a leak on your carpet really ticks me off.

Last night, I was sleeping peacefully when I heard the telltale sound of one of the cats taking a piss on my wall-to-wall carpet. I knew it wasn't Ebby, so that left Silky and Coal. I sprung out of bed, yelling, and Silky bolted out of my room. I proceeded to let loose with a string of invective that would've made a trucker tell me, "Watch your language! There's mechanics around here!" as I turned on the light and found where he was doing some territory marking - under the window near some shoes I haven't worn yet.

I stormed to the garage, and there he was in the kitchen near the door to the garage, looking like all innocent-like. I hollered at him and gave him a major swat for his trouble. I scrubbed the area real hard with what I could find regarding carpet cleaner and water and found some of the pee got onto the soles of a couple of shoes. I rinsed the shoes in the deep sink in the garage. As far as I'm concerned, my room is off-limits to Silky now and forever.

:grrr: What REALLY pisses me off right now? :grrr:

Last night, about 10.30 pm (!!!), the doorbell rang a couple of times, and stopped. Looking out the window, I saw no one at the door, but a couple of suspicious looking scrotes at a neighbours door. Back upstairs, the doorbell rang again. I went down to answer the door (though not open it). I asked who it was - they (there were two) replied "Carol Singers". ??? WTF ???

I called out "It's too late!!!" and headed back up the stairs. I peeked out the window, but saw no one. Spidey senses tingling, I told TB that I thought he should check that the car was alright. He said he wouldn't go out to get his head caved in - I said I would never let him go out alone, I would go with him. He didn't. About 20 mins after this I did hear a noise, not too loud...but saw nothing. We looked out the windows, saw nothing, and a while later went to bed.

This afternoon, just before this post - my Father in Law called round, and rang us on his mobile, saying "You have no doorbell - I've dropped round."

??? WTF ??? :lf: Went to the door, and saw that our doorbell had gone missing. Father in Law found one bit broken and chucked in the gutter outside the neighbours...but not the internal workings!

Seems our fecking scrotey bastards had obviously bashed the bell in, and made off with the innards of it...possibly to return tonight (? who knows how fecking scrotes think ?) to plague us by ringing our now dead doorbell. However, I have unplugged it (as it is the kind you plug into a socket, but it works wirelessly with two batteries).

Goddamn fecking bastard moronic fecking twats whom I would love to take a bloody baseball bat to! I hope their Christmas is rotten, and that their New Year is plagued with all the curses under the sun. NOT a happy bunny here - really really REALLY pissed off majorly!!! :boom::boom::boom:

Jags blew an important game yesterday - if they beat the Indianapolis Colts yesterday, they'd be a shoo-in for the playoffs! What do they do? Lose, of course!

Better pray the Jags win their last 2 games and Indianapolis crumbles, otherwise the Jags will miss going to the playoffs yet AGAIN! AARRRGGGHH!!!

And...that settles it. Jags blew last week's game as well, and they blew it this week. They missed going to the playoffs yet AGAIN.

That's it - I'm through rooting for those choke-artists. They can move somewhere else for all I care.

The time before elections (local, state, national) are starting to piss me off. It's currently time for some local elections (mayor and City Council to be more specific) where I live.

Not only is it nonstop coverage what the candidates are doing on TV, radio, and the newspapers, but my damn phone is ringing off the hook at all hours with recorded messages saying why I should vote for certain candidates.

I was on a roll on Asteroids in the Arcade when another one of those damn calls came, and it really threw me off my pace. It almost makes me NOT want to vote - but then again, if I don't vote, then I have no business griping about how things are so fucked up.

Yea - elections really used to Pee me off too back in Aus. Here? Love voting - guess it's because it isn't compulsory. Strange, isn't it? Plus, you only have to mark a cross in the box of your choice rather than number 1 to however many the heck candidates they can cram on a huge piece of paper. MUCH simpler here...AND we just had a referendum to see if we wanted to change "First Past the Post", to the AV system (which Australia uses). I voted a great big NO!
