Disregarding the odd radioactive skwerl or three (hundred), and functioning at a very basic level...we are, however, ALIVE!
As you've probably read when you tried to log in previously, we had "The Slightest of Slight Accidents" (which is TB speak for "The server went boom, and took ALL the forums with them - completely irretrievable even with the usual "tricks of the trade" to bring them back).
Not only did it wipe out these forums (7 years gone bang :( ), but it also took the raid group forums, and the guild forums also...not to mention the mail. So, that's a very big *OUCH*.
However, looking on the plus side...we will have an updated set of forums (with a watertight lock against spam once configured correctly), and a more easily upgradable set of forums at that (the old one was a bit of a nightmare as there were all sorts of stuff bolted onto it).
The Arcade WILL be back in one form or another, as will The Gallery. There may even be a blogging link with scope for Twitter feeds as well. Any comments/suggestions are very much welcome in here, and we will look at them all and see what we can do. :)
*Strokes forums!* Although it was slowing down a bit - we can now start on an even basis, and I expect you ALL to be outstripping my post count. Just wait until I get all the smileys back in place - the whips will be out once more. Let's get going then! :D
